Angie Quintenilla Coates

 

Angie Quintanilla (keen-tah-knee-yeah) Coates, is an artist and illustrator born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, based in Vancouver, Canada.

Honouring her Latina roots, most of her work has a bright, bold colour palette with a message of hope and optimism. She often incorporates type into her work, usually to share a point of view. To Angie, this is just as important as the art itself.
