#18 Black Sheep Yarns

Black Sheep Yarns opened in Port Moody in 2008 and over the years we have curated a collection of yarn and supplies for fiber arts, using mainly for knitting, but also for crocheting, weaving, spinning and needle felting. Yarns are imported from all over the world with an emphasis on Nordic and British yarns made from natural fibers.

We are increasingly shifting to companies that are involved in ethical wool production using methods which prioritize the well-being of animals and the environment. Much of our wool is breed specific which offers the benefit of choosing yarn based on the characteristics of a singe breed's fleece characteristics. Canada has a small wool industry, but we do carry yarn made from Canadian sheep which has been processed entirely in Canada.
